 College Prep – Faith and Revelation (Grade 9)
First Semester The purpose of this course is to give students a general knowledge and appreciation of the Sacred Scriptures. Through their study of the Bible they will come to encounter the living Word of God, Jesus Christ. In the course they will learn about the Bible, authored by God through Inspiration, and its value to people throughout the world. They will become familiar with the major sections of the Bible and the books included in each section. The students will pay particular attention to the Gospels, where they may grow to know and love Jesus Christ more personally. (USCCB Curriculum Framework)
College Prep – The Holy Trinity (Grade 9) Second Semester The purpose of this course is to introduce to students to the mystery of Jesus Christ, the living Word of God, and the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. In this course students will understand that Jesus Christ is the ultimate Revelation to us from God. In learning about who he is, the students will also learn who he calls them to be. (USCCB Curriculum Framework) An important component of this course is a critical reflection on the students' experience of their community service hours.

College Prep - The Message and Mission of Jesus Christ (Grade 10)
First Semester The purpose of this course is to help students understand all that God has done for us through his Son, Jesus Christ. Through this course of study, students will learn that for all eternity, God has planned for us to share eternal happiness with him, which is accomplished through the redemption Christ has won for us. Students will learn that they share in this redemption only in and through Jesus Christ. They will also be introduced to what it means to be a disciple of Christ and what life as a disciple entails. College Prep - The Church (Grade 10) Second Semester The purpose of this course is to help the students understand that in and through the Church they encounter the living Jesus Christ. They will be introduced to the fact that the Church was founded by Christ through the Apostles and is sustained by him through the Holy Spirit. The Student will come to know that the Church is the living Body of Christ today. This Body has both divine and human elements. In this course, students will learn no so much about events in the life of the Church but about the sacred nature of the Church. Material related to the ongoing plan of salvation history, revelation and tradition, the nature of the teaching authority of the Church and the ongoing need in the Church to address concerns of the times throughout its history in ways that are faithful to the proclamation of the Gospel will be key areas of study throughout the semester. College Prep - Sacraments - Encounters with Jesus Christ (Grade 11)
First Semester A study of Jesus as perfect sacrament of God is the basis for understanding the sacramental theology of the Catholic Church. Beginning with identifying the Church as the sacrament of Jesus Christ, the historical context of each of the institutional sacraments will be addressed offering a deeper awareness and meaning of the rituals, symbols, and mystery of the sacraments of Initiation, Healing, and Commitment.
College Prep – Life in Christ – Morality (Grade 11) Second Semester This course is a study of the principles of Catholic moral teaching which involves understanding how one forms one’s conscience and arrives at moral, life-giving decisions. The key principles, specific magisterial teachings and the life and teachings of Jesus that apply to Christian moral decisions will be stressed. Specifically by discussing and unpacking each of the Ten Commandments which form the basis of our commitment with God we will look forward to living the ideal life as described by the Beatitudes of Jesus. An important component of this course is a critical reflection on the students' experience of their community service hours.

College Prep Peer Ministry – Morality and Social Justice I A (Grade 11) College Prep Peer Ministry – Morality and Social Justice I B (Grade 11)
The purpose of the Junior Peer Ministry course is to encourage and train students for ministerial positions within the Church, beginning with ministry to peers in specific ways during the current academic year. Grounded in the morality and social justice curriculum, students are encouraged to share their faith with others through witness talking, prayer services, service protects, Advent and Lenten activities, and retreat facilitation. Prerequisites: Theology teacher, campus minister and service club moderator recommendation; “B” average in freshman and sophomore theology; mature and responsible attitude and behavior in all areas of school parish and social life. Students accepted into the program will be required to complete a necessary reading assignment assigned by the teacher. An important component of this course is a critical reflection on the students' experience of their community service hours.

College Prep Peer Ministry II- Christology A (Grade 12) College Prep Peer Ministry II- Christian Spirituality B (Grade 12
The primary objective of peer Ministry II is designed to engage students in continuing to develop the necessary knowledge and skills for ministry. During the first semester the class will focus on the study of Christology, and consequently the students will focus on the study of Christian Spirituality during the course of the second semester. Throughout the course of the class, students will also plan and participate in community outreach projects, planning class retreats, prayer services, liturgies, acting as pastoral ministers, and creating a spiritually environment. Prerequisites: Peer Ministry I Theology teacher and campus minister recommendation. An important component of this course is a critical reflection on the students' experience of their community service hours.

College Prep – Philosophical foundations of Christian Faith (Grade 12)
First Semester This course traces the development of philosophical influences that support moral and theological expression in the Roman Catholic tradition. The course begins with discussion of classical Greek thought as it compares and contrasts with the Judaeo-Christian ethic and leads to an understanding of the Church’s teaching concerning moral truth. The modern philosophers serve as a bridge to the study of morality, ethics, conscience formation, and the response of the Church to the social and ethical challenges raised by science, technology and the media in the postmodern world.  
College Prep - Living as Disciples of Jesus Christ in Society- Social Justice (Grade 12) Second Semester This course introduces students to the rich history and application of Catholic Social Teaching beginning with the prophets and the message of Jesus called the Kingdom of God. The principles and key documents are studied in context of real-life issues like immigration and the most vulnerable, the unborn and the poor. The course intends to raise consciousness of the injustices within institutions and structures are not just issues, but real people with dignity endowed by God the Creator so that students will learn to “work toward justice in order to have peace” Paul VI. An important component of this course is a critical reflection on the students' experience of their community service hours.
