Kernersville, NC, December 7, 2017: 

It was announced that Bishop McGuinness is the only High School in the Triad that has been named to the College Boards 8th Annual Advanced Placement District Honor Roll!  This Honor Roll consists of 447 School Districts in the US and Canada chosen from more than 14,000 districts.

The Diocese of Charlotte was included with five other Districts (The Diocese of Raleigh, Clinton City Schools, Montgomery County Schools, Nash-Rocky Mount County Schools, Yancey County Schools) in the State, out of more than 200. Bishop McGuinness is one of three high schools in the Diocese of Charlotte and was given the distinction due to the quality of Advanced Placements offered and students who earned a score of 3 or higher when tested.
