Application Process

- Applications are submitted online through our Application Portal.

Application Overview
- Online application and a non-refundable fee of $200 must be submitted.
- A transcript request form and discipline form submitted through the online application, or delivered to your child's current school. Click HERE to view or download the forms.
- Most recent copy of IEP, 504 Plan, or Student Accommodation Plan (SAP) for students requesting Academic Achievement support.
- Parish Participation membership is required of Roman Catholic applicants desiring the Catholic tuition rate. Bishop McGuinness will send a list of families to all local parishes for participation verification.
- Birth certificate and immunization record are required prior to enrollment.
- Applicants and their parents will have the opportunity to tour the school, attend a class and interview with a member of the admission staff. Please call Admissions, 564-1011, for an appointment or RSVP for a Villain Walk by clicking HERE.
- Admission letters are sent in mid-March.
- Create a user account for the application portal by clicking HERE
- Select your relationship to the applicant and begin the application.
- Always SAVE form and continue(bottom right) to move through the application.
- Select Placement Test date from the options provided in the application.
- Complete and submit application along with online credit card payment ($200 fee non-refundable).
- Print, sign and submit the Transcript Request form and Discipline form to your current school.
- All supplemental forms can be downloaded on the last page of the application or requested through the Admissions Office at 336-564-1011 or psmendoza@bmhs.us.
- After you complete the application, you may print a copy for your records.
- Please allow 4-5 business days for processing of your application.
- The Admissions Committee will consider applications beginning in January once all the required information and documents have been received.
- Consideration for admission is based upon standardized test scores, grades, recommendations and disciplinary profile.
- With notification of acceptance a non-refundable $150 registration fee is due.
- Online enrollment packet must be submitted along with registration fee.
- Until the fee and enrollment packet are received, a student is not officially entered on the roster for the school year.
- You will also receive information on the registration date(s) for selecting classes, and bus registration.
- Take the Placement Test. Click HERE for dates.
- A current year Tuition and Fee Schedule, Payment Method Plan and bus transport program information is used only as a reference.
- You will be notified of the rates for the next school year once adopted by the Advisory Board and Diocese of Charlotte by early March.
